My name is Nidal Al-Harkali, I am 25 years old. I am single and live in Gaza. I finished my five-year university studies in mechatronics at Al-Azhar University. I have been working hard lately to raise money to travel abroad, complete my master’s degree and work for a foreign company. I applied to travel to Germany and obtained a German language certificate within a whole year. I applied to a German university and was accepted to complete my studies, but the obstacle I faced was that they required a bank guarantee of a very large amount of 10,000 Euros. I tried to work to get it, and the war came and destroyed all our dreams. However, despite my academic endeavors, my life and my father’s life took a dangerous turn, which put us in a state of urgent need. We had a beautiful house that we worked to build throughout our lives, and suddenly the occupation aircraft completely destroyed it.
